Can’t recommend Bob and his staff highly enough!I don’t normally leave reviews but having visited The Comfort Store recently from Midlothian, I thought it would be helpful for other prospective purchasers.In our efforts to find good quality furniture (with quite specific requirements for a high, firm chair & sofa) we have searched high and low, visiting multiple Showrooms in and around Edinburgh and I have to say, most were extremely disappointing.Bob and his lovely team have beaten other big, well known names hands down on Customer Service, Attentiveness, Knowledge and Price. They’ve gone above and beyond to help and although it’s a little bit further for us to travel, we won’t be shopping anywhere else in future.Their range of quality furnishings is vast, the prices are way better and most importantly for us, they know what they’re talking about.You won’t get any made-up flannel from an incompetent, pushy Sales Person that tells you complete rubbish to secure a Sale.In Summary, The Comfort Store, Inverkeithing is Excellent!Many Thanks to everyone we’ve dealt with there!The difference between The Comfort Store and the biggest, well known retailers is like night and day.

I do like the staff and the fact they are a local independent business rather than a big chain. No pressure selling at all. You get welcomed, then left in peace to browse and try.

Great selection of sofas & other furniture. No pushy staff following you around. Very friendly & helpful family run business. Sofas arrived today & look fantastic. Great delivery team. Very polite & efficient. Would definitely recommend. a visit

Have bought many items over the years from Comfort store water bed, leather suite, day bed etc and never a problemThe 2nd last item I bought was a Harrison Spink King size mattress less than a year ago and its build quality is not in question (although pricey at £1,400)We had just moved our previous 3 year old firm sprung mattress to my daughters house as she needed a replacement.I physically tried the soft, medium & firm Harrison Spink mattresses and quickly ruled out the soft. However I was swaying toward the medium as firm seemed to pinch my hip, shoulder & knee. I am 5 ft 8 / 13 stone and felt medium would suffice, but got informed that these mattress springs would soften over time ... it hasnt unfortunatelyand now wish I had went for medium, which may have gave me a better nights sleep thus far.Moral of the story .. I now need a new King size mattress, which I will likely go back to Comfort for but cannot give a good score to the Harrison Spink mattress, It has left dips (as if it were memory foam) and is far too expensiveStick to the range £500 - £800 and you want go wrong

We selected a G Plan 3 piece suite on our visit to the store. Karen gave us the information we required with no pressure selling to obtain a sale. They kept us informed of the progress of our order which was approximately 4 months and the suite was delivered on time as specified.The delivery team were excellent. They removed the existing furniture which was a tremendous help to us. We look forward to our next purchase in mid 2022.It has to be 5 out of 5.Robin Thomson.

Second mattress from here, I just want to add that before you shop on line go and have a look at this shop and look at the price comparison its not always apples for apples with cheaper on line alternatives. There is no hard sell, just friendly advise. I went back twice prior to this purchase and David and the team could nt be any more helpful. They offer a delivery service and can take away your old mattress for a small fee. Delivery team first class nothing a problem. Great selection of brands in which they have cherry picked the ones they deem worthy of selling, prices to suit all. Mr Townend

Over many years I have bought from this store.. it has a warm friendly relaxed feel, the staff are welcoming then leave you to take as much time to browse..they never pressure you.. but there when needed for assistance..very helpful too, this store has the best quality beds and sofas.. recliners and more.

We bought a guest bed here about a year ago, king size, divan with a mattress included. It was great value and good to know we have a local store to talk to if we had any problems. Over the course of a year, it's probably only been slept in a few times by guests but we get compliments every time someone uses it. When we visited the store we were approached once by the salesperson, an older gentleman, who was helpful but not pushy at all. They were really flexible about delivery and held on to it for a while until we could arrange for someone to be home.

Had a fantastic experience with the comfort store and all the staff. Nothing too much trouble and very friendly non pushy sales team. Always a smile and they remember who you are unlike these faceless big companies. A pleasure to deal with and good quality furniture at fair prices. Highly recommended. Ordered 2x 2 seat sofas after a big box company let us down after a 6 month wait. Ordered with the comfort store and delivered within 3 weeks absolutely delighted.

Delighted with our new bed, was estimated to be delivered in 4 weeks, but arrived within 3 weeks !! Special mention to the 2 delivery guys who put the bed together, & removed all packaging 😊 Excellent customer service, would highly recommend Comfort Store .

I was recommended to go to the Comfort Store when I was looking to invest in a new bed. From the second we entered the store we were met with a lovely smile welcoming us from one of the female staff members. She asked if we were needing anything specific and pointed us in the right direction and said if there was any questions to give her a shout. So we shouted and got the info required, bed purchased, paperwork completed & the deal was done! The bed was delivered a few weeks earlier than we expected! No hassle, friendly staff and brilliant prices for all ranges of furniture! Thank you xx
